Timeline Assets

Organization

Timeline assets are editing materials to be used at the timeline level and are accessible only in Timeline Editing (TE) mode. They include 3 different types of BG (background) movie clips: "story" clips, generic clips, and user clips. These assets are stored in Timeline Asset Bin (the multi-tags bin box on the left of application screen) and organized according to their types and purposes in 2 sub-tab spaces called story and bin. Clicking on the tab name will bring the respective tab space to the front. The story tab is the default space on the front. Each tab comprises of 5 "tag" spaces for further categorizing various editing assets it houses.

Tab Spaces

The story space is exclusively for housing movie clips repurposed from the "Read" contents. In the current release, only the first tag is occupied with such movie clips. The rest of vacant tags are reserved for clips from other acts that are to be added in the future.

The bin space is for storing generic assets that are of more user definable nature. These includes generic BG clips and user BG clips.

Note:
A movie clip is called a 'clip' when it's resided in the asset bin, but it's called a 'scene' once it's placed in the timeline. The same distinction should be made for movie in the Preview window. If it's dropped in from asset bin it's called a 'clip'. But if it's incited from the timeline it is called a 'scene'.
