Preface

Comixware is designed to be intuitive and easy to use. The best way to get acquainted with the program is to "jump" right in and start using it. However, for an entertainment application this is a "deep" program. Meaning: it contains many sophisticated tools and powerful functions that would suit for both casual user and serious hobbyist. For the most part the interface is self evident and straightforward. But because of the "depth" of the program, certain interface elements may not be obvious at the first glance. That is why we provide this reference manual to help you to get the most out of Comixware. We suggest you to glance through this Introduction chapter (including the Quick Start section) to get things started first. As you get comfortable with the basics, the rest should come your way naturally. Use this reference when it's needed. The real thing is much easier to understand than the descriptive literature.
